1. Who is responsible for the data?
Lindberg Showreels is operated by Lindberg Design Group AB, Box 5059, 102 42 Stockholm. We are the data controller for the processing described here.
Questions regarding personal data should be sent to mats@lindbergshowreels.com.
2. What data do we handle?
We process data that you provide to us, such as your name, email address, telephone number, contact messages, order and invoice details, and information required to carry out an assignment.
For showreel assignments, we also handle the photographs, film clips, audio files, and profile details you provide. The material may contain identifiable individuals. Our service providers may also process technical information, such as IP addresses and usage data.
3. Why do we use the data?
We use data to respond to enquiries, plan and deliver showreels, manage Membership and other assignments, payments, invoicing, customer contact, and support. We may also contact you regarding your order or necessary changes to the service.
If you subscribe to newsletters or industry updates, we use your email address for these purposes. You can unsubscribe via the link in the email or by contacting us.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on, among other things, fulfilling a contract or taking steps prior to entering into a contract, complying with legal obligations such as accounting, and our legitimate interest in managing customer contacts and our business. Where processing requires consent, we will obtain it. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Your showreel and publication
Film and image material that you provide is used to create, deliver, and, if necessary, update your showreel. If publication is included in your order, the finished showreel and agreed profile information may be displayed on the Lindberg Showreels website and Vimeo. Material published openly can be viewed by others.
Submitted raw material is not made available for public viewing as part of the standard process. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding publication, changes, or removal.
6. Payments and providers
Payments and subscription charges are handled via Stripe. Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. We do not need to handle your full card details.
We use services for website operation (Webflow), video hosting (Vimeo), and email distribution (Mailchimp). These providers process the data necessary for their respective services. In some cases, data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA. In such instances, applicable safeguards under data protection regulations will be applied.
7. How long do we store the data?
We store data for as long as it is necessary for the customer relationship, agreed services, membership, or to handle queries and claims. Material required for agreed updates may be stored for the duration of the service. Accounting records are kept for as long as required by law. Thereafter, data is deleted or anonymised where possible.
8. Cookies and external links
The website and connected services may use cookies or similar technology for functionality and technical information. You can manage cookies via your browser settings and any choices made on the website. External services, such as Stripe and Vimeo, have their own privacy policies.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, depending on the situation, you may request access to your personal data, as well as its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may also object to certain processing and withdraw consent when processing is based on consent. Please contact us at mats@lindbergshowreels.com.
You can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or procedures change. The current version is displayed on this page, including the date of the latest update.
